Sell Your House and Rent it Back
Release Equity in Your Home Without Moving Out
Sell And Rent Back Schemes: Raise Capital and Pay Back A Mortgage Quickly AND Stay in Your Home - Short or Long Term
Repossession-Stoppers.com is an honest and ethical business. We take pride in our high service standards and the company we keep. You will not find any ruthless ‘fat-cats’ here. We are a family business who understand the importance of a family home. If you need to sell your house to release the cash tied up within it, but do not relish the idea of finding somewhere else to live then our rent-back scheme could be just the solution you need - just sell your house then rent it back.
Sell Your Property and Rent It Back – How Does It Work?
Selling your house and renting it back sounds like a strange idea to many at first, although it is quite an obvious solution. When you sell your house for cash, typically a cash-rich investor will buy it and rent it out through a local letting agent. If however the original seller would rather stay in the house and pay rent then this provides a win-win situation for both the seller and the investor as the house is not left empty.
Renting your house after the sale can be done either on a short term (up to 6 months) or a long term basis (1 year +). The monthly rental cost will be agreed with you before the sale which will be based upon similar rented houses in the local area, in some cases a rent-free period can be arranged to help you get back on your feet.
Sell Your House and Buying It Back
Currently we do not offer buy back options because we do not believe these are morally correct and we would not like to provide a service we would not be happy to recommend to our own friends and family. Most buy back schemes artificially inflate the cost of buying back your home at a later date, which means if you ever need to sell your house again you will suffer negative equity.
Some organisations even prey on those who hope to win the lottery to buy back your home. This is not us, we know a family home is not something to be gambled with – and its not something you should be held to ransom over either. If at any point in the future your financial situation changes and you want to buy your house back, simply make an offer to the investor who owns it. If it’s a good offer they will accept – they are not emotionally attached to your house like you are.
Cost Involved With Selling Your House and Renting It Back
There are no fees to pay when selling your house through Repossession-Stoppers.com, if you choose to rent your property back after the sale the investor will deduct the bond from the cash payment. The bond is typically one months rent and is standard practice for landlords to keep this until you leave the property.
Paying Rent on a Property You Used to Own
Okay, so its not the ideal situation – we won’t pretend that it is. But paying the monthly rent is simple and can be done using whichever method you are most comfortable with – cheque, cash, direct debit, etc.
At Repossession-Stoppers.com we act with honesty and discretion at all times and any dealings between us are kept strictly private – not even your closest neighbours will know.
The main advantage of renting is that your landlord will take care of repairs and maintenance which can take away the stress of surprise bills for leaky roofs, boiler breakdowns, etc. Please fill in the form above to request further details on how to sell your house to rent it back, without any obligation.
